Charlotte Jean Zierke

Zierke, Charlotte J. (Hightower), age 44, Tecumseh resident, passed away tragically on Sunday, February 18th, 2024, in rural Pottawatomie County. 

Charlotte was born on March 22, 1979, in Shawnee.  She was raised in Shawnee, graduating from Shawnee High School in 1997.  Charlotte worked at Braum's for many years and enjoyed working with the public.  Being outside and spending time with others were how Charlotte enjoyed life.  Her family was so important to her, but she was also fond of pretty much everybody.  Friends would be made quickly as she was quite trusting and outgoing.  When it came to playing outside, Charlotte was always game.  She loved fishing, caring for the farm animals, and sunny days on the lake.  Charlotte will be missed so much by those she loved.  

Survivors include her daughters:  Amy and April Currier of Dallas, TX, sister Catina Campbell of Holdenville, OK, brother Timothy Campbell of Oregon, grandson Michael of Dallas and Mother Cathy Williams of Mississippi.  Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Michael Zierke, grandmother Rosemary Campbell, uncles Edward and Frank Campbell, special great-aunt Juanita Guffey as well as many other family members.

Services are pending and will be announced, once scheduled.
