On January 28th of 1978, a blessing had been born in Oklahoma City. Christina Jean Spurgin, a true gift to this world. Christina started her life with a smile and spunky ways, meeting long lasting friends at Mcloud High School of where she graduated in 1996. Shortly after graduation, Christina set forth a plan to achieve her goals as a teacher. Along the way, she met her husband Don and they married on August 21, 1999 in Shawnee Oklahoma. Don and Christina started their journey together, building a family with four beautiful blessings; Kylee, Madison, Shelby and their son, Chance; during the time of building and raising her family, Christina still remained focused on achieving her goals to become a teacher and eventually received her degree at East Central University. Shortly after, she then began her teaching as a 3rd grade teacher at White Rock, but later transferred and remained at Meeker Elementary. Christina continued to live the simple but yet vibrant life, from family vacations, to movie nights, as well as supporting her children in all they do and loved being a grandmother to her precious granddaughter Brystol Marie Spurgin, who was born on December 2, 2021. Christina was a woman who loved her family to the fullest and took pride and joy of making the best of what was given, and never complained about the challenges ahead, she always remained focused and head strong to very end! Christina is survived by her husband, Don Spurgin and her children, Kylee, Madison, Shelby, Chance and granddaughter, Brystol Marie, her parents Mike and Karen Booth as well as her siblings, Jessica and her husband, Lee Beaver. Angela Williams, brother Justin Booth with his wife Elaine, Brandon Booth and Ferdinand Uson. In laws, Keith and Jeri Surgin, sister in law, Jennifer and her husband Tim Colvin, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 6, 2022 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Tecumseh.
