Clark Ernest Williams, Jr. 96 of Harrah, OK, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 in a local nursing home.Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Walker Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tuney Ropp officiating. Clark was born January 15, 1921 in Ellisville, Texas to Clark Ernest Williams, Sr. & Ileta (Morton) Williams. On December 28, 1939 he married Ruby Mae Cranford. He served with the US Navy from May 24, 1944 thru March 7, 1946. He and 4 of his brothers were in WWII at the same time. He was a Civilian Training Officer at Tinker Air Force Base, as well as a farmer. He loved to fish, water ski, and jet ski at his lake house on Texoma, riding his 4 wheeler on the farm and reading his Bible and historical books, as well as working in his garden and flowers Clark was a member of First Baptist Church in McLoud, where he was a Sunday School teacher, a Volunteer Christian Builders in Santa Fe, TX, and a member of American Legion in McLoud as a WWII Vet. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby, his parents, Clark & Ileta Williams, 5 Brothers and 1 Sister. He is survived by: 2 Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Edna & Jack Ross of Harrah, and Virginia & Gordon Dial of Del City; 7 Grandchildren and their Spouses: Tony & Marianne Ross of Sache, TX, Penny & Eric VanGombos of Harrah, David & Kimberly Ross of Santa Fe, TX, Loni & Robert Mooty of Lewisville, TX, Don Dial of Seminole, Dusty & Misty Dial of Del City, and Sandi & Jeff Laughlin of Oklahoma City; 12 Great-Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
