McLoud resident Clayton Baker, Jr., 78, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Shawnee, OK.Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Friday, April 13, 2018 at Jamison Cemetery with Chaplain Bill Simpson officiating. Clayton was born September 22, 1939 in Selma, North Carolina to Oscar Clayton Baker Sr. and Viola (Evans) Baker. He served in the United States Air Force for 8 years. He married Cindy (Starbuck) on October 1, 1982. Clayton was the Chief Electrical Inspector for the City of OKC for many years before opening Baker Electric. He later started a business called Quarters Only which was a vending machine company. He enjoyed working and was a man that could fix or build anything.He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include: Wife: Cindy Baker of the home,Son: Clayton Baker of McLoud,2 Brothers: Jim Baker of Kansas City, MO,Harold Baker of Chelsea, Oklahoma,Aunt-in-law: Carol Starbuck of OKC,And several other family members and friends.
