Daniel Edward Freeman

Daniel Edward Freeman, a beloved husband, father, son, uncle, G-pa, and friend passed away on August 25, 2024 at the age of 58. Born on August 6, 1966, in Claremore, Oklahoma, Daniel made his mark on the world through his unwavering love for his family and his dedication to craft as the owner of his own electrician business.

Daniel had an exceptional gift for connecting with those around him, characterized by his fun-loving spirit and big heart. He loved life, his family, and his culture deeply. A true family man, his grandbabies were the center of his universe. Whether they were enjoying road trips, cheering on the University of Oklahoma during football games, or simply spending time together, those cherished moments were a testament to the joyful nature of his life. Known for his loud and infectious laughter, Daniel was a man who once met would not be forgotten, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda Freeman; his daughters, Shakotah Freeman and her husband Jeremiah, Nicole Jones and her husband Stanley, Sarah Caudle, Betty McCosar and her husband Zach Tiger, Emily Jasna and her husband Ethan; his sons, Kris Jones, Donald McCosar, James McCosar and his wife Thelma Meeley; and his cherished grandchildren, Kholeson Freeman, Kaden Jones, Alexus Jones, Addison Jones, Gevaise Jones, Gannon Caudle, Lennox Caudle, Ryanne Caudle, Gunner Dapprich, Tanner Dapprich, Kyus Tiger, Kyler Tiger, Kyara Tiger, and Everly Jasna. He is also survived by his mother, Shirley Brookeshire; brother, David Freeman and his wife Abrana; niece, Candace Waugh and her husband Crossby; niece, Cheryl Freeman; and nephew David Freeman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Freeman, whose memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew them.

A wake will be held on September 3, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service. The funeral service will follow on September 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Walker Funeral Chapel.
