David Robert Lane

David Robert Lane of Shawnee, OK, departed this earth on January 26, 2018. He was born March 2, 1958, to Floyd Robert Lane and Ivadene Kimmet Lane Crawford, both of whom have preceded him in death.David grew up in McLoud and Meeker, OK, and later resided in Shawnee where he was a respected and successful business owner of Lane Trucking. David also had many passions in life, including being a member of and going on runs with the Oklahoma Muddy Hogs.Those David leaves behind and who will miss him immensely include daughter Corie Gillespie of King William, VA; Amy Smith of Meeker, OK; son David Lane of Shawnee, OK; sisters Iva Lane McAdams of Gulfport, MS; Reatha Lane Green of Meeker, OK; brother Dathan Lane of Asher, OK; grandchildren Caitlyn Cox, Gabrielle Lane and Rylie Lane; as well as many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.Funeral services for David will be held at 2pm, Friday, February 2, 2018, at Walker Funeral Service in Shawnee, OK.
