Diana Lee Teel

Diana Lee Teel lost her battle with cancer on 20 July, 2021. She was 63. Diana was born 7 Jan, 1958, and lived in the McLoud area most of her life. She graduated from McLoud High School in 1976 and began her nursing career soon after. She married her husband Robert Teel in January 1978 and raised two children. Diana was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend; she will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. She is preceded in death by her son Bobbie Glen Teel, husband Robert, and mother Janice Lempges. Diana is survived by her devoted son Travis Teel, father Robert Lempges, her brothers Donald Lempges and wife Kelly, Steve Lempges and Mark Lempges; sisters Marsha Shipley and husband Tom, Cathy Holland and husband Johnny, and Lisa Lempges, as well as many nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to McLoud Historical Society, PO BOX 1292, McLoud, OK 74851. Visitation will be from 7pm to 8pm Tuesday, July 27 at Walker Funeral Service. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Walker Funeral Services in Shawnee with Rev. Gary Eubanks officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Shawnee.
