Dixon Tiger

Tiger, Dixon, age 61, resident of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away at his home on December 20, 2023.

A graveside ceremony to celebrate his life will be held at 2pm Tuesday, January 2, 2023 at the Concho Cemetery in Concho, Oklahoma.

Dixon was born in Dallas, Texas on November 17, 1962 to Dean and Ruby Tiger.  He was raised in the Dallas area before moving to the Shawnee, Oklahoma area.  Following his education, Dixon joined the U.S. Army.  For much of his working life, he was a laborer at a tire shop.  He was a proud member of the Cheyenne-Arapaho tribe in Oklahoma and will be laid to rest with his family on tribal land.

Survivors include his daughter Elaine Tiger of Oklahoma City, son Steven Tiger of Shawnee, grandchildren Jocilyn Davidson, Colton Tiger, and Kyle Tiger as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dixon was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Donna Tiger, Dennis Tiger, and Dee Tiger.
