Donald Ray Morris

Donald Ray Morris, 75, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 30th. He was born in Tulsa on February 24, 1949, to Ancil and Myrtle Morris. He attended Oklahoma State University where he met and married Carma Norene Guinn on March 20, 1971. He graduated with a degree in Math and later with a degree from TU in accounting working as a CPA. One of his favorite joys was being a Papa to his 5 grandchildren where he enjoyed supporting them in sports and school. He was an active member of Aydelotte Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard, Melvin, and Ron Morris, and sisters Lorene Miller and Willa Mae Burgess.

 He is survived by wife, Carma Morris, of the home, daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Mike Lewis of Meeker, and Robyn and Derec Janaway of Washington, brothers Roger and Ken Morris, sister Charlotte Morris, grandchildren Brandi and Justin Lewis, and Logan, Payton, and Addyson Janaway, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

 Services will be held at Aydelotte Baptist Church on Monday, August 5th at 10am, with graveside services immediately following at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker. Viewing will be at Walker Funeral Home on Sunday from 1pm-5pm.
