Donnie C. Heffley

Shawnee resident Donnie Carl Heffley, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at his home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 2, 2019 at Tecumseh Cemetery.

Donnie was born July 21, 1940 in Maud, Oklahoma to Rance and Neater Heffley.  He attended Harjo and Maud schools.  On September 22, 1961 he married Connie (Clifton).  He worked as Sprinkler Fitter for several years and was a member of the Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 669.  Donnie enjoyed hunting rocks, fossils, making jewelry, gardening, driving his tractor, drawing cartoons, and watching old westerns.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson:  Jason Heffley, and siblings:  Luster, Fern, Martha, Ravina, Chester, Shirley, and an infant.

Survivors include his Wife:  Connie Heffley of the home, three children:  Jimmy Dean Heffley and wife Tammy of Shawnee, Randy Heffley of Shawnee, Michael Heffley and wife Smoque of Mustang, five grandchildren:  Janna, Johnathan, Donovan, Alex, and Crystal, six great-grandchildren, two brothers:  Marvin Heffley and Robert Heffley, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
