Dwight Fisher

October 21, 1937 — June 25, 2021

Dwight Fisher, age 83 of Tecumseh Oklahoma was called home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 25, 2021.  He was born in Cherokee Oklahoma to his parents, Joe and Lucille Fisher

Dwight graduated from Medford Oklahoma and worked many years as a home builder. He then moved on to specializing in home remodeling and repair.

Dwight enjoyed fishing and had a passion for antiquing.  Spending many hours exploring antique shops and flea markets across the state finding those special unique treasures which always brought a smile to his face.

Dwight especially loved spending time with his family and friends.  He is remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, who was compassionate, understanding and kind.  Someone who always had time to sit and truly listen to you.  Offering advice and encouragement when needed and other times, understanding that just being there and giving us one of his special smiles, was all that was needed.

For many years, Dwight was involved in the Knights of Columbus and many other charitable activities where he was able to share his kindness and love with others.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Jeanne, his sister Francis, children Larry, Terry, Laura, Chuck, Pam, Darci, Russell and Tonya. Grandchildren Alex, Shannon, Mykel, Joseph, Taylor, Dakota, Weston, Carli, and many nephews and nieces.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents Joe & Lucille Fisher, his son David Fisher and Annette Fisher.

Cremation has already taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Moore, Oklahoma during the month of July.
