Elizabeth Ellen Williams

Elizabeth Ellen Loula Williams of Shawnee was born April 12, 1972 at St. Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Don L. Loula and Gail L. Willis Loula. Elizabeth was a loving daughter, sister, wife and grandmother. She died of complications of pneumonia due to septic shock on January 25, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother Gail, her sister Judith, and her daughter Hannah. Elizabeth was a graduate of Shawnee High School class of 1990. She pursued further education obtaining an associate’s degree from Seminole State College, Seminole, and a bachelor’s degree in human services with a counseling concentration from East Central University, Ada. Later in life, she returned to school and graduated with a degree in medicare coding form Rose State College, Midwest City. Elizabeth was married to Billie R. Williams on May 5, 2001 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Shawnee, Oklahoma. To this union three children were born; Margaret Anne, Hanna Marie, and Matthew Isaac. She was a caring stepmother to Camillia, Nickie, and Charlie; and grandmother of five – Camillia’s son Calan, Nickies’s daughters Isabella and Clare, and Charlie’s daughter Videl and son Kal. She was a doting sister and best friend to Catherine A. Loula. Elizabeth took pride in always being there for her children and was an active volunteer with the St. Benedict Church youth group as well as helping in any activity her children were involved in, especially the SHS band and football team. She was an avid reader and crafter who could make anything she set her heart to. Elizabeth loved a good joke and enjoyed laughing with everyone she met. Elizabeth was a person overflowing with creativity and love who was there for anyone and a mother to all. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Services for Elizabeth will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church where she was a lifelong member. There will be a prayer service on Friday, January 28 at 7pm with the funeral Mass at 10am Saturday.
