Erma Belle Roberson

Erma Belle Roberson went home to Jesus on September 30, 2021 at age 90.

A funeral ceremony for Erma will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Chapel. Following the ceremony, Erma will be laid to rest next to her husband at Dale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: grandsons, Wayne Tyler, Mike Tyler, Gary Warren, Jr., Will Wright, and great-grandsons, Kyle Tyler and Easton Tyler. Honorary Pallbearers will be: grandson, Derek Tyler, nephew, Mike Roberson, and great-nephew, Michael Roberson. Viewing times will be on Saturday, October 2nd from 9am-4pm and on Sunday, October 3rd from 1-5pm.

Erma was born to William Mac and Minnie Belle Harris on September 10, 1931 in Marlow, Oklahoma. Erma met her husband, Archie Neal Roberson in 1971. The two married on February 11, 1972, and settled in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother, Erma also loved working in her garden, quilting and staying active in various volunteer roles at church. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Erma joins her husband, Archie Neal Roberson, parents, William and Minnie Harris, and her brothers and sisters in Heaven.

She is survived by her children, son, Gary Warren and wife Melinda of Newcastle, daughter, Glenda Ellison and husband Curtis of Tecumseh, grandchildren, Wayne Tyler and wife Gwen of Oklahoma City, Mike Tyler and wife Ashley of Oklahoma City, Will Wright and wife Amanda of Newcastle, Gary Warren, Jr. of Moore, OK, great-grandchildren, Kyle Tyler, Easton Tyler, Derek Tyler, Whitley Tyler, Gabi Tyler, Brooklyn Wright, and Lucas Wright, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
