Etta Mae Schlehuber

Etta Mae Schlehuber, 90, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in a local nursing home.Etta Mae was born October 6, 1928 in Marietta to Howard and Martha (Davis) Cooper. She grew up in the Asher area starting her education at the Anderson School in the Macomb area and completing her education in the Asher School system. Etta Mae married Warren “Bud” Schlehuber, he preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of the Thompson Heights Church of Christ.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a great uncle, Tom Sanders; and cousins, Modell Brock, Tom Cooper and R.L. Schlehuber. She is survived by Jo Huff of Midwest City; Red Barnes of Seminole; Jenean Cooper of Orlando, FL; Donna and Jim Newell of Jefferson, TX; Ruth Cooper of Seminole; Mozella Schlehuber of Kermit, TX; and friend, Charlotte Harrison of Tecumseh.A graveside service will be Friday at 10:00 AM, at Tecumseh Cemetery.
