Evie Lois Sebastian

Evie Lois Sebastian, 85, of Meeker, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 26 at her home.

Evie, the daughter of John and Stella (Mooney) Hogue, was born December 3, 1934 in Tupelo, OK.  On November 5, 1955, she married Otis Sebastian in Shawnee, OK.  Evie was a cafeteria worker at Meeker schools for many years. She attended HIS church in Meeker. Evie was never as happy as she was when she was with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; siblings, Leona Hair, Flora Mae Batcheler, Elberta Barton, Mary Hulse, Rubin Hogue, Freeland Hogue, J.B. Hogue, James Hogue, and Ruth Hogue; and a son-in-law, James Watkins.

Evie is survived by her daughters, Gayla Summers, Donna Watkins, and Betty Ann and Steve Forehand; grandchildren, Josh, Shannon, Kendra and Alex, Skylar and Heather, Braydon, Ashton and Todd, Trevor, and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Connor, Cannyn, Memphis, Mavryk, Dawsyn, Skylee, Riley, Jayden, and Jaxon; and many other family and friends.

A family visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Walker Funeral Service in Shawnee.  Services will be Wednesday, July 29, at 10:00 AM at the Walker Funeral Service Chapel in Shawnee, with David Price officiating.

Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.

Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.
