Geneva Faye Worthen, resident of Eufaula, OK and Meeker, OK, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 73 years old.
Faye was born on March 14, 1948 in Hastings, Nebraska to her parents, Tilson Clyde Laird and Illa Gayle (Stabenow) Laird. She graduated from Putnam City High School and went on to receive a Bachelors in Accounting and a Masters of Science in Management from Southern Nazarene University. She worked as a Controller & Director of Finance. Faye dedicated her life to raising her children and enjoying her beloved grandchildren.
Faye married Ken Worthen in 2001. She spent her retirement with Ken attending her grandchildren's programs, events, and hosting family at their lake home in Eufaula. Faye was known for her devout love of her family and her Savior.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents, T. C. and Illa Laird and her sisters, Sandy Laird and Linda Laird.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Worthen of Eufaula, daughter, Brett Dixon of Tulsa, son, Jason Young and his wife Jennifer of Meeker, daughter, Tanya Richardson and her husband Ace of New Zealand, granddaughters, Shelby Young, Hadley Dixon, Eliza Dixon, Bailey Carpenter, Emily Carpenter, and Alexus Richardson, grandsons, Blake Dixon, Sam Dixon and Tilson Young, and sister, Vicki Pfieffer.
Faye will be laid to rest at a graveside ceremony at Rossville Cemetery in Meeker on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm. All are welcome.
