Florence May Manini

Florence May Manini, resident of Shawnee, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at her home doing what she loved, working in her yard. Florence was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 26, 1926 to William and Mabel Franz.

Florence loved and cared for her family immensely. She always tried to put forth her best self. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved to bake, sew, and do crafts. While growing up, her grandchildren would use her as a measuring stick to see how tall they were getting.

Those who preceded her in death include her parents, William and Mabel Franz, her husband, Joseph Manini, and daughter, Martha Manini.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina Womack and husband, Kevin, granddaughters, Christine Cox and Kodi Womack, grandsons, Joseph Cox and A.J. Womack, great-grandson, Ty Womack, and great-granddaughters, Teona Brannon and Joei Cox.

The family will be available to greet friends on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Walker Funeral Service. A graveside ceremony will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 10:00 am at Calvary Cemetery.
