Floyd E. Bays

Shawnee resident Floyd E. Bays, 93, passed away on September 19, 2021 in Shawnee. Services will be held on September 30, 2021 at 10:00am, Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 501 N. Broadway Shawnee Oklahoma. Memorial donations may be made to Hartland Hospice, 2802 N. Kickapoo, Shawnee Oklahoma 74804. He was born on November 1, 1927 to Ellis and Lula Bays in Chandler, Oklahoma. He graduated from Shawnee High School 1944. He worked at Wilson Meat Company in OKC, owned a liquor store, and managed a club at the Cinderella (Best Western) in Shawnee. His hobbies were cooking, gardening, and flowers Floyd was a long time member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Lloyd Bays, Don Bays, and Bill Bays. Survivors include his three sisters, Lucillie Farrell, Eva Rogers, Doretha (Faye) Harrell and many nieces and nephews.
