Fonda Kay (Wilson) Loftis passed away peacefully at her home in Shawnee, OK on Sunday, April 11, 2021 surrounded by family. Fonda was born in Charlotte, NC on November 5, 1948 to Judson Wilson and Aileen (Broyles). She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1967. Fonda married her High School sweetheart, Darrell Loftis On July 29, 1967 in Texas. They made their home and raised their family in Shawnee, OK. Fonda loved anything and everything having to do with the medical field. She worked for several doctors throughout her life. Fonda retired from Citizen Potawatomi Nation Health Services in 2015, after 16 years of employment. Fonda was a caring friend and a loving wife, mother, nanna and great-nanna. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were everything to her. Those there to meet her at the pearly gates of Heaven are her parents, Aileen and Judson Wilson; her brother, Louis James “Jimmy” Wilson; and her daughter, Lori Dawn (Loftis) Miller. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Darrell Loftis of the home; daughter, Paula (Steve) Lyon of Shawnee; son, Dustin (Rosemary) Loftis of Chicago; granddaughter, Morganne (David) Bourbonnais of Shawnee; grandson, Trevor Lyon of Shawnee; granddaughter, Braydi (Zac) Campbell of Chandler; grandson, Andrew Loftis of Chicago; granddaughter, Olivia Loftis of Chicago; great-grandson, Cash Campbell of Chandler; great-grandson, Remy Lyon of Shawnee; great-granddaughter, Winsley Campbell of Chandler; great-grandson, Rhett Bourbonnais of Shawnee; sister, Connie (Randall) Click of Shawnee; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank Donna Neely, Stephanie Lawrence from LifeSpring and Kellie Pittman from LifeSpring for the wonderful care they provided Fonda in her final days. Services will be held at Walker Funeral Service in Shawnee on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 2pm with Paul Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee.
