Freddie Ortiz, of Shawnee, left this world on Thursday, September 20 at the young age of 69. Each and every person that met Freddie took a piece of him with them. We all, figuratively and sometimes literally, wore a shirt that was once his as he took it off his back to give it to you without question. This unconditional love and giving is what set him apart. With a Christ like love, he is proof that second chances when given with love will allow anyone to pay that forward with love.Freddie, the son of Fred B. and Henryetta (Mercado) Ortiz was born in Lawton, OK on January 13, 1949.
