Georgia Faye Nullake

Georgia Faye Nullake, age 74, of Meeker, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Georgia was born August 25, 1950 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, a daughter of George and Ruth Anne (Morris) Nullake. Georgia was raised in the Aydelotte community. She attended Meeker schools, graduating in 1969. After High School, she attended Central State College in Edmond. As one of the few full blood members of the Sac and Fox Nation, Georgia lived her entire life in central Oklahoma. Georgia worked at the CTSA Head Start and later as an Enrollment Clerk for the Sac and Fox Nation before retiring in November of 2023. As well, she was a former chairwoman of the Sac and Fox Nation Election Committee. In her free time, Georgia enjoyed sewing, attending Pow-Wows, and traveling to her favorite natural wonder, the Grand Canyon. When she was taking it easy at home, she appreciated watching her favorite TV show "Naked and Afraid." She was a loving, caring mother, sister, aunt and friend.

Survivors include her son Edison Nullake of Meeker, adopted daughter Deanna Larney of Meeker; sisters: Stella Nullake of Aydelotte, Nancy Nullake of Cushing, and Ida Parish of Shawnee, grandchildren: Autumn Torres, Julien Torres, and Emilio Torres, as well as a host of other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Juliette Blanchard, siblings Regina Davis, Shirley Alexander, George Nullake, Jr., nieces Jaylen Johnson and Henrietta Kauley as well as her nephew Kyle Nullake.

Friends and loved ones may pay their respects on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 4-8pm. A traditional Sac and Fox funeral ceremony will continue on Sunday, March 30, 2025, both at the Sac and Fox Nation Community Building at the Sac and Fox Nation Complex south of Stroud, Oklahoma. Following the ceremony, Georgia will be laid to rest at the Wakolee Cemetery North of Shawnee.
