Geraldine Dunagin

Geraldine Dunagin (Hasbell) of Shawnee passed from this life on Monday, January 1, 2024. Geraldine was born June 1, 1949 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Alva and Bertha (Bristow) Hasbell. She graduated from Meeker High School.

Geraldine worked at the Department of Human Services for over 30 years.

She loved her family very much and was the most honest person. Geraldine was always a giver. There was nothing she wouldn't do for others. Geraldine was very faithful to the Lord and her church, Living Waters Pentecostal Church of God. She went to church every Sunday morning with her husband, David, sister, and daughter. Geraldine didn't like to miss church so she went every day she could and was faithful to the end.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alva and Bertha Hasbell; daughter Keyna Carlene; and brother Lester Dean Hasbell.

She is survived by her husband David Dunagin; daughter LaDeana; sister Carletta Joiner; brother Vernon Hasbell; and nephews Brock Joiner, and Brent Joiner whom she was a second mother to & numerous other nieces & nephews who were also very special to her.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Walker Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
