Gladys (Hall) Hale

May 4, 1933 — November 7, 2019

Gladys was born the middle child of Russell & Josie (Loman) Hall on May 4, 1933 and went home hand in hand with Jesus Christ on November 7, 2019.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 11 in the chapel of Walker Funeral Service, with Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Gladys lived her first nine years in the Dale area and moved with her family east of Shawnee in 1942. She graduated from Earlsboro High School in 1951 and began her working life at OG&E.  On January 21, 1953, Gladys met Buster Hale and they quickly became inseparable.  They were married September 5, 1953, and spent 66 years together as life loves and best friends.  They shared one daughter, Susan Hale Lowe.  Gladys started work with Federal National Bank (BancFirst) in 1959 and retired from there in 1992.  Her love for flowers was evident by looking at her backyard.  It is certain that she is already in charge of a garden in Heaven.  She was a longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church and loved her Lord & Savior.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Howard Hall.

Gladys is survived by her husband, Buster, daughter & son-in-law: Susan & Jack Lowe, granddaughters: Lisa & Jason Knight and Leslie & Ted Ruff, great-grandchildren: Lauren, Lainey, Cate and JJ Ruff, Emma and Jack Knight, sister & brother-in-law: Edith & Kenneth Curtis.
