Glen Lamb of Shawnee passed to his Heavenly Home on Thursday, October 21, 2021 after 59 years of life. A devoted and fun-loving husband, father and PawPaw, Glen was a lionhearted man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking for family and friends. His many adventures included salmon fishing in Alaska, a trip to England and several fabulous cruises. Memorial services have been set for Friday, October 29th, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Walker Funeral Service Chapel. A visitation time with the family will be Thursday October 28th from 4:00 pm to 6:00pm at the funeral home. He knew from a young age that he wanted to be a carpenter and he could turn any piece of wood into a thing of beauty. As a child, he would hammer a nail into a block of wood, pull it out and do it again and again. In high school he played football and wrestled. While in college he coached young wrestlers. He was a 1980 graduate of Shawnee High School. While in high school, Glen attended Gordon Cooper Vocational School earning a general carpentry skills certificate. He also attended Seminole Junior College graduating with an Associates Degree in Construction Management. He proudly held the title of AGC Certified Master Carpenter. His talent was always in demand and he worked on everything from small projects to multi-million dollar estates. He spent his career mostly in residential construction and was currently employed as a Construction Consultant for UBuidIt in Oklahoma City. There was nothing he couldn't build. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Doris (Stiers) Lamb, his in-laws, Edward and Carolyn Martin, Uncle Paul Stiers, and all of his maternal and paternal grandparents. Glen is survived by his wife of 33 years, Michele, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Lindsey and Phillip Farland, and a granddaughter Paisley Farland of Oklahoma City; sister Charla Dildine (Gil) of Shawnee; brother-in-law Marshall Martin of Tecumseh; sister-in-law Mary Gollhardt (Brad) of Lake Eufaula; nephew Austin Lamb of Norman; nieces Erin Gollhardt and fiance' Evan and Jamie Gollhardt, all of Newark, Delaware; Aunt Norma Stiers; cousins Monty Stiers and Sherri Sposato; his beloved Australian Shepard, Sydney, and other family and friends.
