Glynn J. DinsmoreGlynn Jake Dinsmore, 82, passed from this life on June 15, 2017 in Shawnee.Visitation will be Monday from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Clint Dawkins officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 P.M. at Chouteau North Cemetery in Chouteau, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service. He was born November 11, 1934 in Mayes County, Oklahoma to Clarence Lee and Hester (Rice) Dinsmore. He attended school at Chouteau, Oklahoma. He met the love of his life, Jacklyn, in Chouteau and they were married April 10, 1959. They lived in Pryor, OK for 4 years and operated a DX Service Station on 69 Highway. They moved to Shawnee in 1963. He attended O.B.U. for a time then operated an International Harvester Truck Dealership in 1968 called Dinsmore Truck and Equipment Co. Inc. In 1984 he had an opportunity to become a Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep dealer called Dinsmore Motor Plaza Inc. and was very successful for 16 years. He also sold Kubota Tractors from 1980 to 2012. This company was Dinsmore Tractor Sales Inc. It also was very successful but he decided to retire in 2012 for health reasons. After 2 years, he developed “The Suds Bucket Inc.” laundromat and opened in 2014 on Harrison St. in Shawnee. It continues very successfully today. Glynn won many awards and trips all over the world. He and his wife were married for 58 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Doris Wolfinger and Clarice Williams, a nephew, David Williams, and a grandson, Daniel Potter.He is survived by his wife Jacklyn Dinsmore of the home, 5 Sons: Gregory Lee Dinsmore and wife Carla, John Eric Dinsmore, Scott L. Dinsmore, Bill Dinsmore and wife Colene, Bob Dinsmore, 1 Daughter: Patricia Dinsmore, Grandchildren: Taylor M. Dinsmore, Brandt Dinsmore, Matthew Dinsmore, Mallory Dinsmore, Leslie Cartwright, Brian Dinsmore, Jason and Evie Dinsmore, Diana Potter Wheeler, 3 Nieces: Cheryl Wolfinger, Angela Morrison, and Yvonne Ehman, 2 Nephews: Steve Williams and Phillip Williams And numerous other family members and friends.
