Guy Roy Parker

Guy Roy Parker passed away surrounded by his family on January 13, 2024. He was a beloved family member, leaving behind cherished memories for all those who knew and loved him.

Guy was born on September 25, 1956 to his parents Roy and Leda Parker in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He grew up in a loving household with his siblings Rodney and Gary, forming unbreakable bonds that lasted throughout his life.

Guy's professional career was spent working for OG&E. His commitment and hard work earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. The last several years, he contributed to the success of his son-in-law's business doing so many behind the scenes tasks, showing his dedication to his family and their endeavors.

Guy's true joy in life came from his role as a family man. He was a caring father to Summer and Savannah, and a doting grandfather to his treasured grandkids. Spending time with his grandkids brought immense happiness to Guy's life, and he cherished every moment with them.

During his leisure time Guy enjoyed spending time with his pets who were not just pets but loyal companions. Additionally, he took great pride in working on the pond, and making the yard look beautiful at all times. Guy's talent for fixing anything around the house made him the go-to person for family and friends whenever they encountered any issue.

Guy was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His kind heart, unwavering dedication, and selfless nature touched the lives of everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Roy and Leda Parker, brother Rodney Parker, and daughter, Sheena Nicole Parker. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Summer and Cody Lilley of Shawnee, daughter and son-in-law, Savannah and Derek Berry of Edmond, granddaughters Peyton and Parker Lilley, grandson Eli Berry, and brother Gary Parker and Jerry Renzelman of Edmond.

A viewing for friends and family will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service. A funeral ceremony to celebrate Guy's life will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Service Chapel.
