Hannah Grace Baughman, 23, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, was welcomed into her Heavenly Father’s arms on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Hannah was born on September 15, 2000, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Lewis Robert and Jenae (Clark) Baughman. She was homeschooled by her loving mother in her early school years and graduated from Shawnee High School in 2019.
Hannah was baptized on October 30, 2016. She worked numerous part-time jobs primarily as a server and retail support. Last summer, Hannah’s job supported the storm restoration crews following the April tornado in Shawnee. Hannah made plans to attend school this Fall to become a veterinarian technician.
She loved to spend time in the sun, with her friends, driving her car and listening to music, and had a heart for helping others. Hannah loved to travel and always had bags packed and ready to go. The destination could be anywhere. Although New York City or Miami may have been a glitzy choice, a trip to the lake, mountains, or Iowa to her grandparent’s family farm were some of her favorite places to go. She enjoyed playing in the waves of Florida, the night life at the beach, and the snow-capped mountains of Red River, New Mexico. Having amazing balance, she excelled at snow skiing and always had an unspoken wish that her dad would just “let it go" and ski faster with her.
Her creative pursuits in painting, photography, and writing highlighted her ability to express herself and spread joy to others, particularly through her whimsical recent paintings of gnomes and toadstools. Hannah's warmth and generosity, her knack for making friends wherever she went, and her deep love for her family are truly admirable traits that leave a lasting impact on those around her. She is a shining example of someone who lived life to the fullest and brought light and happiness wherever she went. She made sure to tell her parents and family that she loved them often.
She is preceded in death by her grandpa Robert D. Clark, grandma Barbara Ann Baughman, and an unborn sibling. Those left to love her include her grandpa William C. Baughman of Pulaski, Iowa, grandma Carol K. Clark of Shawnee, parents Lewis and Jenae Baughman, sister Alyssa Rose Baughman, brother Levi Wondimagegn Baughman, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The service will be live streamed through the Walker service. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a memorial may be given to Victory Family Church, Shawnee or to notinvainmoms.com in memory of Hannah.
