Hannah Mae (Johnson) Foster passed from this life at the age of 85 on July 28, 2017. Hannah was born to Charley Johnson and Judy (Bear) Johnson on September 19, 1931 in Calvin, Oklahoma. She graduated high school from Haskell Institute, Lawrence, Kansas in 1951. She attended nursing school in Lawton then went to Washington where she was a nurse on the Colville Indian reservation. She returned to Oklahoma and retired from Lucent Technologies in 1989 after 22 years of service. Hannah was a member of the Muscogee-Creek Nation and a member of Glorieta Baptist Church, Oklahoma City. She was also a former member of the choir, Native Praise.Hannah is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Johnson, her first husband Edward McClung and second husband Emery Foster.She is survived by three children: Daughter, Connie Hayes and husband Walter of McLoud, OK, daughter, Ruth Ann Garvin and husband George of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, and son Harry Foster of Shawnee. She is also survived by five brothers: Edward "Sam" Johnson and wife Alice of Tulsa, Andrew Johnson and wife Wanda of Sapulpa, Eugene Johnson and wife Sandy of McAlester, Thomas Johnson and wife Ida of Tahlequah, Charley Johnson Jr. and wife Paulette of Bixby, and one sister Rosie Johnson of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Hannah loved all her family and always looked forward to family reunions.The family would like to thank the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Health Services, Dr. Damera and nurse, Ashley for their care of Hannah, as well as, Heartland Home Health and Hospice.Viewing from Hannah will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Walker Funeral Chapel.
