James C "Chad" Cravens

Shawnee resident Chad Cravens, 55, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021. Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, May 17, 2021 at Family of Faith with Sam Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at Blackburn Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Service. Chad was born December 27, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio to James and Josie (Morris) Cravens. He attended Bethel schools. Chad served as a Missionary in Mexico and met Matilda “Maty” (Pacheco) and they later married on November 21, 1998. He worked as a maintenance engineer for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and attending Family of Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife: Maty Cravens of the home, 2 Sons: Joshua Cravens and Timothy Cravens, 2 Brothers: Heath Cravens and Jeff Cravens, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
