Janet Elaine Sturgill Clinkenbeard

Janet was born in Oklahoma City to James and Lydia Sturgill on May 10, 1954. She went to see her Lord and Savior on November 7th, 2018 at her home in Newalla. She was diagnosed with kidney cancer in February of 2018 and succumbed to the disease, after bravely fighting it. She was a proud supporter and donor of K Love Radio, The Way FM, The House FM, KLRC and The Gospel Network. She was a believer that Christian music could reach more people with God’s message than a lot of other media. She also supported and served with LifeChurch and Convoy of Hope.She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mitch Clinkenbeard; daughter Tammy Carney and husband Brian; son Erik and wife Erica; 3 grandchildren, Isaac, Luke and Roman.A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held November 29th, 10:00 a.m., at the LifeChurch campus, located at 9001 N. Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City.
