Janice Lee Field Lempges passed away Monday, July 16, 2018. She was born in rural Payne County, OK October 28, 1936 to Donald Ellsworth and Lina Ford Field. Janice married Robert Frank Lempges at St. Xavier Catholic Church in Stillwater, OK on June 9, 1956. They made their home in McLoud, OK for the next 62 years where they raised seven children. Janice was a homemaker and community leader. She worked tirelessly over her lifetime to support her family as well as many school, community, civic, and church endeavors. She was widely known for her loving heart and delicious cooking, selflessly serving all those who crossed her path.She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Donna Bridenstine, brother Leo Field, and grandson Bobby Glen Teel. She is survived by her husband Robert, and children, Diana Teel, Donald and Kelly Lempges, Marsha and Tom Shipley, Steve Lempges, Mark Lempges, Cathy and Johnny Holland, and Lisa Lempges, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, her twin sister Joyce Webb and brothers Bob Field and Kenneth Field along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Wake services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 18 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Walker Funeral Service, Shawnee. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Ladies Club.
