Jeanne J. Dye

Shawnee resident Jeanne J. (Jennings) Dye, 93, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Shawnee, OK. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Jeanne was born January 13, 1929 in Williston, South Carolina to William J. Jennings and Mary Magdalene (Debose) Jennings. She married Dr. (Retired Col.) William B. Dye Sr. on April 15, 1947. Being a military wife, Mrs. Dye spent most of her life as a homemaker as the family moved frequently. She enjoyed antiques, gardening, reading, and will be remembered as a good wife and good mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son: William Dye, Jr. Survivors include 3 children: Lutensia Cassinetti of South Carolina, Joseph D. Dye and wife Sara of Ogden, Utah, and T. Michael Dye and wife Dina of Mcloud, OK. 3 grandchildren: Hillary Dye, Aubrey Dye, and Chelsea Hogue and husband Jason.
