Jeff Witcher of Dunwoody, Georgia, died Monday, April 3, 2017 at the age of 49. He was born January 10, 1968 to Travis and JoAnn Witcher. Jeff graduated from Shawnee High School in 1986. He played football at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and then completed his undergraduate work at Oklahoma Baptist University. He also received a degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He pastored several churches in North Carolina, Texas, and Georgia. He also worked for several financial services companies and in real estate and business development. He is survived by his daughter Kaitlin Witcher of Los Angeles, California, and sons Garrett and Gage Witcher of Port Aransas, Texas along with their mother, Shelley Mayer also of Port Aransas, Texas; foster parents Lloyd and Yvonna Wilkins; foster brother and his wife Mark and LeeAnn Wilkins of Shawnee; foster brother and his wife Scott and Liz Wilkins of Shawnee; and nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday April 25th at Walker Funeral chapel. Arrangements are directed by Walker Funeral Service in Shawnee.
