John Edward Worlund

John Edward Worlund,  52, died Monday, April 3, 2017 at his home in Shawnee. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Larry Sparks officiating.    John Edward Worlund was born February 18, 1965 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Robert L. Worlund and Susan (Maxwell) Worlund.  He attended high school in Amarillo, Texas. He served in the United States Army 157th Airborne. He was a Green Beret Special Forces Unit, and also played on the Army rugby team.  After his honorable discharge, he attended college in Enid and began working in the medical field. He was very caring and enjoyed spending time with family as well as watching rugby, and music. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by 4 Brothers: Mark Worlund and wife Sheila of Shawnee, Tim Worlund and wife Sandi of Shawnee, Scott Worlund and wife Kristy of Blanchard, and Greg Worlund and wife Dena of OKC; Nieces and Nephews: Ashley, Wyatt, Blake, Paige, Sheldon, Katelynn, Rylee, and Vi; Great-Niece: Nancy, and several cousins, other family members and friends.
