Josie L. Cravens, 75, passed from this life and went to see Jesus face to face on October 19, 2018 in Shawnee, OK.The family will be at Walker Funeral Service on Friday from 6pm to 8pm to receive friends. A celebration of her home going will begin at 11:00am Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church. She was born May 4, 1943 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Earl Morris and Floy (Washington) Morris. She attended Spalding High School. On December 24, 1959 she married James Clinton Cravens in Holdenville, OK. She sold real estate in the Shawnee area for 38 years and most of those years as a broker of Century 21 Golden Key. She enjoyed watching basketball, especially when it was family. She valued friendship and spending time with others. One of her catch phrases was “come tell me a story”. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: James Cravens, brothers: Earl, Tom, Bill, Jerry “Skeets”, and Jeff Morris, a sister: Geraldine (Morris) Story, half-brothers: Clarence, Jewel, Melvin, Marvin, and Lowell Morris. She is survived by her sons: Jeff Cravens and wife Michelle of Oregon,Chad Cravens and wife Maty of Shawnee,Heath Cravens and wife Windy Lee of Alaska,Grandchildren: Clint Cravens, Skylar Cravens, Joshua Cravens, And Timothy Cravens,And several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
