Karen Gail Young

 Karen Gail Young, 51, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Karen, the daughter of Norman and Peggy (Bowers) Drake, was a resident of Shawnee. Karen married Arthur Young on October 18, 2007 in Chandler. Karen was very adventurous, she loved to travel and was a great cook. Karen loved life, loved her family, loved helping and ministering to people on social media. More than anything else, however, she was a proud, loving grandmother and dedicated wife.Karen is survived by her parents; her husband, Arthur; her children, Jessica and Jarrod Lowry, Christopher Rankin, and Anita and Robert Seaton; 6 grandchildren; and her brothers, Anthony Drake and Donald Drake; and many other family and friends.A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at God’s House of Prayer Church in Chandler, with David Burgess officiating. Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service in Shawnee.
