Kathryn Ann (Wiley) Rick was born on May 2, 1947, to Albert Woodbury Wiley and Ruth Aleene (Alexander) Wiley in Beloit, Kansas. Kathy went to be with her Lord on May 25, 2018, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 71.Kathy lived a full life taking advantage of each day God gave her. She attended Oklahoma Baptist University. Kathy was an active member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She was first and foremost a wife of almost 50 years to her husband, Chris, and a mother to her two sons, John and Bart. She also worked in advertising for Countywide News, was an insurance agent for State Farm, and was an entrepreneur.Kathy was also a volunteer for the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art, a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and was active in Shakespeare Club. Preceding Kathy in death were her parents, her brother, Paul Wiley, two brothers-in-law, Ray Delicati and Rod Richardson and a sister-in-law Carolyn Benafel. Left to mourn her passing are her husband Chris Rick, her son John Rick, her son Bart Rick and his wife Missie Rick and four grandchildren Hannah, Emma, Kevin and Leah Rick of Wylie, Texas; three sisters, Karen Delicati of Coppell, Texas, Rita Richardson of Gardnerville, Nevada, and Merideth Phelps and husband Steve of Castle Rock, Colorado; four nephews and two nieces and their families. A vigil prayer service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Shawnee. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, also at St. Benedict. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kathy’s name to either St. Benedict Catholic Church, 632 N.
