Shawnee resident Kenneth Holder, 82, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 in Oklahoma City. Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Mark Guinn officiating. Kenneth was born January 30, 1939 in Meeker, Oklahoma to Elmer and Loydell (Beeson) Holder. He graduated from Mcloud High School where he played basketball. On August 1, 1959 he married Mary Elaine (Brooks) in Shawnee. Kenneth then served in the United States Army in Korea as an electronics tech and sharp shooter. He then owned and operated Holder T.V. and Appliance in Shawnee from 1968 to 2005 before retiring. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter: Nancy Holder Bass, 3 brothers: Jr., Billy, and Bobby Holder, and a brother-in-law: Ed Lane. Survivors include his wife, Mary Elaine Holder of the home, 3 sons, Brian and Debbie Holder of Willis, TX, Dwight and Kecia Holder of Enid, OK, and Roger and Grace Holder of OKC, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister, Glenna June Lane of Mcloud, son-in-law, Brian Bass of Dallas, TX, and several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
