Kevanna Jade Starr, resident of Shawnee, OK passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022. She was 20 years old. Kevanna was born on July 3, 2002 in Shawnee to her parents, Kevin Starr and Thomasine Grass. She graduated with the class of 2020 from Shawnee High School. Kevanna worked as a Slot Tech at the Black Hawk Casino. She loved being around family and friends, was known to be a social butterfly and loved listening to music. She was a very charismatic person who brought joy to your life. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Shalah Grass. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Kevin Starr of Oklahoma City and Thomasine Grass of Shawnee, sisters, Alexis Grass of Shawnee, Tiona Starr of Oklahoma City, Armani Walker of Shawnee, brother, Mario Munoz of Oklahoma City, paternal grandparents, Amy Reagan and Jerry Reagan of Okmulgee, as well as many extended family members. A viewing for Kevanna will be held at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. A wake service will be held on Thursday, January 5th at 6:00 pm at the Sac & Fox Community Building in Stroud. A funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, January 6th at 12:00 pm at the Community Building in Stroud with Pastors Clint Dawkins, Pazlo Gonzales and Michael Grass officiating. Casket bearers will be: Quentin Grass, Xavier Grass, Roberto Grass, Sr., Roberto Grass, Jr., Esequiel Grass, and Nelson Switch. She will be deeply missed by those who were lucky enough to know her.
