Kilte Cynthia Reeves, 68, of Shawnee died January 13, 2022 in Ada, Oklahoma. She was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Jerry Reeves and Vivian Dolores Dockrey. She attended Shawnee Public Schools and Oklahoma Baptist University. Throughout her life she was involved in theatre and music. She played Blanche in OBU’S production of “A Streetcar Named Desire”. She also appeared in various productions with Shawnee Little Theatre. She continued her artistic pursuits in Hollywood, California and Nashville, Tennessee. She was cowriter on the song “Healing” featured in the movie “Silent Fall” and recorded by Wynonna Judd. Kilte was preceded in death by her father, Jerry A. Reeves, and brothers Rusty and Lance Reeves. Kilte is survived by her loving mother Vivian Dolores Dockrey, brother Jeffrey Reeves and sister Elise Reeves, all of Shawnee. She was also survived by nieces Lora Scantling and Noelani Romias ; nephews Cullen Romias and Jeffrey Reeves, Jr; and numerous other extended family and friends. Private services will be held. The family will be at the funeral home on Sunday evening January 23rd from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. to visit with friends.
