Kizella J. Huddleston, 96, of Shawnee died Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at her home. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 7 at Resthaven Memorial Park, and Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 7 at St. Paul’s Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Tiffany Monroe officiating, under the direction of Walker Funeral Service. The family has designated St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 as appropriate for memorials.Mrs. Huddleston was born May 2, 1922 in Paris, Texas to Jeff David Thurston and Lillian I. (Bailey) Thurston.She attended Wilburton High School and became an Educator. She married John Isaac Huddleston and was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, as well as OEA and NEA.Kizella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter LeEllen Huddleston, a son-in-law Donald Grogan and granddaughter, Shea GroganShe is survived by her daughter Jefflyn Farris, and grandchildren: Slaton & Lorian Farris, Kace,,Evan, Bailey, Bryn, Tyler Day Grogan and families.
