Larry Paul Chilcoat

Larry Paul Chilcoat passed away Friday, April 16th 2021 at the age of 75 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Larry was born August 1st, 1945 to Ocie Lee Chilcoat and Grace Irene Isbell Chilcoat in Seminole, OK. He married Ida Nell Wood on July 24th, 1965. They were married 55 years. He was enlisted in the United States Army in 1966 and was honorably discharged. On August 21st, 1968, they had a son, Gregory Paul Chilcoat. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and brother. Larry was a purposeful man, he had a purpose for everything he did. He enjoyed the outdoors and anyone that really knew him, knew that he especially enjoyed fishing. Larry was dedicated to whatever he addressed. His lifetime of work started at a very young age. He began his career in the refinery industry just as his father. As his worked moved forward, so did his opportunities and with each opportunity came growth. He was able to accomplish many goals within his career. One in particular is becoming a plant superintendent, which he was very proud of. Larry was survived by his wife, Ida, of the home, one son, Greg Chilcoat and wife Dana of Ada, two granddaughters, Lauren Chilcoat of Ada and Sydni Chilcoat of Ada, three great-grandchildren, Jayce, Jettsen, and Haivyn all of Ada, one brother, Bill Chilcoat of Conroe, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, J.O. and Bob Chilcoat. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 20 in the chapel of Walker Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Little Cemetery.
