Laurie Ann Dunham was born on February 24, 1961, in Grand Junction, Colorado, and passed away on January 28, 2025. She was a dedicated professional, having served as a UPS truck dispatcher and later working at GF Central Plastics. Laurie's educational journey culminated in her graduating from Haltom High School and obtaining an associate’s degree in medical billing, milestones that she regarded as proud accomplishments in her life.
A true embodiment of simplicity and warmth, Laurie was a proud mother who cherished her time spent with her children. Her memory will forever echo in the hearts of her family. Laurie found joy in various hobbies, including fishing, gardening, and karaoke, and she relished every moment spent near the water. Her vibrant personality and commitment to her family and interests enriched the lives of those around her.
Laurie was preceded in death by her father, William (Bill) Bond; her daughter, Laura Jo Allison; her sisters Connie Phelps and Robin Woodring; and her brothers Dwight (Jr) Winton and Tommy Bond.
Laurie is survived by her mother, Ruth Duncan; daughters, Mary Kathrin Burton and her husband Jason, and Seana LeAnn Moon and her husband David Patrick. She is also survived by her sister Mary Kathleen Thorpe and her husband Hewlin, her brother Rocky Higgins and partner Laura Kennedy, her brother Michael Bond and his wife Donna, as well as six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on February 3, 2025, at Walker Funeral Chapel at 10:00 am. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be forever treasured by her family and friends.
