Lavaun Kay Duvall

Lavaun Kay (Bergschnieder) Duvall, 71, of Shawnee, died Thursday, September 10, 2020 in a local hospital.

Memorial services will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Liberty Baptist Church with Phil Thompson officiating.

Lavaun was born January 19, 1949 in Independence, Missouri to Jack and Martha (Jackson) Bergschneider. She was a 1967 graduate of Shawnee High School. On July 14, 1972 she married Dennis Duvall. Lavaun worked in the front office at Liberty Baptist Church for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Martha Bergschneider.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis of the home, daughter & son-in-Law: Staci & Lance Seymour of Houston, TX, sons: Josh Duvall and Jeremy Duvall, both of Shawnee: granddaughters: Danielle Robinson and Morgan Farmer, both of Houston, TX, and Destiny Duvall of Shawnee, Grandson: Jackson Seymour of Houston, TX.
