Leonard Talmadge Walker, 92, of Shawnee, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at his home. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee. Leonard was born August 7, 1925 in Davy, West Virginia to James E. & Nancy L. (Brammer) Walker. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the US Navy and served on the USS Honolulu and Battleship USS Nevada during World War II. Leonard was married to Juanita (Dobbs) Walker for 62 years. He worked as an auto body repairman, and loved working in the yard, helping others, and spending time with his grandsons and his great grandbabies.
