Loretta Hill Moore was born February 3rd 1934 in Little Oklahoma to Virgil and Ruby Hill and peacefully went to Glory October 29th 2023.
Loretta grew up in Wewoka, Oklahoma and graduated from Wewoka High School. Following High School, she held a career as a secretary for an insurance company and spent many years as a registered medical assistant. She taught Sunday school and was a gifted piano player for the children. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren whom she loved with all of her heart. As well, she was a member of The United Presbyterian Church of Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Ruby Hill, daughter Jeanette Hinds, granddaughter Lindsey Hinds, brother Gerald Hill and sisters Elaine Floyd, June Brawner and Joyce Hill.
Survivors include her daughter Dana Moore-Wolfe and husband Ian, grandchildren Cody Hinds and wife Shay, granddaughters Sierra Hinds and Rachel Wolfe, great-grandson Haven Zachary, sister-in-law Shirley Hill, stepdaughter Susan Wright and husband Jeff and adopted daughter Trellis Carter and husband Jimmy Don.
She will be remembered for her fiery spirit, steadfast faith and the quiet loving deeds she did for others.
Friends and loved ones may pay their respects at the funeral home from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2023 with a ceremony to celebrate her life to be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2023 in the chapel at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service. Following the ceremony, Loretta will be laid to rest at the Little Cemetery North of Seminole.
The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and Meeker Nursing Center for the exceptional compassion and care given to our mother and grandmother.
