Louis John Teboe

Louis John Teboe, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on July 10, 2024 at age 61. He was born on May 14, 1963, in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Louis lived in OKC as a child and in his teenage years was raised in Little Axe, OK. There he learned how to ride horses and milk cows. On June 30, 1990 he married Julia Yahola and together they had three children.

Louis dedicated a significant part of his life to serving as a transit driver for the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. Prior to that, he honorably served in the United States Army.

Outside of work, Louis found joy in various hobbies and interests. He cherished moments spent swimming at the lake, going on hunting excursions, and watching football and basketball games.

In his life, Louis built strong bonds with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Julia Teboe; sons, Larrin Richard Yahola and Louis John Teboe Jr.; daughters, Alyssa Renee Teboe and Cassandra Larney; grandchildren, Aubrey Kathleen Yahola, Tobias James Gouge, and Uriah Richard John Gouge; as well as by his brothers, Curtis Davis (Dee Runnoe) and Frank Teboe (Sharon Alsip); and sisters, Laurie Schell (Doug) and Semarian Fixico (Kenneth) and Ramona Roberts.

Louis was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wisey Morgan-Frank; grandparents, Louis John and Rachel Tebo; father, Conrad Teboe; parents, Leroy Walker and Sylbie Mae Harjo-Walker; uncles, Johnny Robert Harjo, Homer Lee Harjo, and Fred Harjo; sister, Karen Sue Davis; and baby girl Walker.

A wake will take place on Monday, July 15th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Walker Funeral Service. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 16th at 1:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Chapel.
