Tecumseh resident Margaret Criss, 91, passed away, Monday, December 25, at her home.Memorial services will be 10:00AM Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at St. Benedicts Catholic Church. She was born August 29, 1926 in Lehigh, Oklahoma to Oscar English and Minnie (Pareno). She graduated from Coalgate High School. She married Rudy Criss and worked much of her life as a homemaker but also worked as a Meat Market Manager for Albertson Grocery where she retired. She was a member of St. Benedicts Catholic Church where she volunteered and spent much of her time. She taught ceramic, enjoyed bowling, and loved to travel and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Rudy Criss, daughter: Tonya McClure, son: Todd Bland, and son-in-law: Jerry Cawvey. Survivors include Daughter: Rhonda Cawvey of Shawnee, Son: Michael Criss of Shawnee, Grandchildren: Tracey Cawvey of Shawnee, Tori Schimmel and husband Kevin of Shawnee, Michael Bland and wife Brittney of Tecumseh, Great-Grandchildren: Baylee Schimmel of OKC, Kross Schimmel of Shawnee, Scout Cawvey of Shawnee, Seven Cawvey of Shawnee, Bentley Bland of Tecumseh, Brother: Hershall Clark and wife Christine of Tecumseh, And several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
