Mary Louise Factor

Mary Louise Factor, resident of Shawnee, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. She was 90 years old. Mary was born in Wewoka, OK to her parents, Reed Frank Lena and Molly Lou Gray. She attended Indian boarding school most of her life. She graduated from Chillocco Indian Agricultural School in 1953. She was the vice president of 4-H Club and a member of the museum and guides club, Pep squad, and choir. 

Mary spent many years working for the Department of Human Services before retiring in 1997. 

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Reed Lena, mother, Molly Gray, daughter, Pat Valderrama, granddaughters, Leslie Factor, Brittaney Factor, and great-grandson, Nokose McKane

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon McKane, sons, Paul Factor and Aaron Buck, grandchildren, Felix Warden, Robert McKane, Michael Warden, Mecco Factor, and Cheyton Factor, great-grandchildren, Kaylynn McKane, Aiyana McKane, Kandace Valderrama, Lexxi Valderrama, and Mvlahne McKane. 

A memorial ceremony for Mary will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Walker Funeral Chapel.
