Mary Lou Peacore

Mary Lou Peacore, 60 of Shawnee, OK went to be with our Lord on Sunday July 26, 2020.

Mary Lou enjoyed and loved her family dearly. She will be remembered for her loving heart and her willingness to give her last dollar to anyone in need. Her memory also lives on by the strength she always showed; a quality that was passed on to her children and grandchildren.

Mary Lou worked as a waitress for many years. Some of her hobbies included spending time with friends at the casino and gathering for family dinners. She grew up in Ridgecrest, CA where she graduated high school, was baptized and also became a youth leader.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frances and Leon Peacore; three brothers, Joaquin Miller, David and Randy Peacore, and her nephew Darren Peacore.

She is survived by three children Faith and Will Jacoway of Tecumseh, OK, Michael John and Malita Green of Shawnee, Jeremiah, Elena Green of Shawnee, and one sister Francine Johnson. Mary Lou had 8 grandchildren: Destanie, Serenity, and Ananias Jacoway, Shaniah and Symphony Green, Jaelyn, Jaeda, and Jaesten Green as well as nephews Phillip Peacore, Brad Braley, nieces Savannah Miller, Brandy Peacore, lifelong friend Kent “Ace” Lynam along with many more family and friends.

Services will be at Cross Connection Church “C3” in Shawnee, OK at 10:00 AM Thursday July 30th, 2020 followed by burial at Snake Creek Baptist Church in Seminole, OK under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.
